What should I do if I need to see a doctor suddenly on my way home from work but I don't have my health insurance card with me?

You can receive insurance treatment even if you don't have your health insurance card etc.(Myna health insurance card, Eligibility Vertification Certificate etc.）with you. While you will need to pay the medical care costs up front, settlement methods vary by medical care institution. Be sure to check on handling of insurance treatment at the counter of the institution before receiving care. If the institution asks you to show it your health insurance card etc.(Myna health insurance card, Eligibility Vertification Certificate etc.）at a later date, do so. If the medical care institution does not provide settlement but requires you to pay the entire amount up front, claim benefits by submitting the Application Form for "Medical Care Expenses" to the return destination*  at a later date with a "detailed statement of medical care (original)**  and your "receipt(s) (original)" attached. The Value HR, Health Insurance BPO Center will review these documents and pay benefits according to its standards.

**Statement serving as a substitute for receipt data will not be accepted. Request　to reissue for "detailed statement of medical care（original）".
